Step into a world where botany meets art! Join us at The Design Table for a hands-on Cyanotype Printing Class - the magical 19th-century photographic process that uses sunlight to create stunning blue-and-white prints. Using fresh flowers and leaves as well as beautiful papers and fabric, we will create frame-worthy botanical art pieces for you to gift or keep for yourself. Learn about Anna Atkins, an accomplished watercolorist who is considered the first to make Cyanotype an artform with botanical specimens. Her images of scientific curiosity has served as inspiration for cyanotype artists since the late 1800’s. This class includes a beautiful walk out into the sun as well as a light lunch!
